I calculate fees based on scope, complexity, and project details, then refer to the GVAA rate guide for market pricing considerations.

For audiobook narration, I accept non-union per finished hour (PFH) rates as well as Royalty Share Plus contracts.

Duet or Dual narration productions incur higher PFH fees due to the extended scope of the project.

I am happy to communicate with you directly about your budget considerations and am willing to coordinate payment plans to allow for greater financial investment flexibility.

Productions vary by scope and project completion can range from 48 hours to several months. It’s best to contact me directly about your specific project so that we can discuss details directly.

I like to collaborate with my authors throughout the production process.

If selected as your audiobook narrator, I initiate an initial Zoom call. This gives us a chance to chat about the project and make sure we are both a good fit moving forward.

Then I will begin my Pre-Production process; this can include pre-reading the text, compiling character, plot, or performance notes, and then scheduling a follow up Zoom call with the author to confirm production details. Depending on the scope of the project, a 25% downpayment may be requested at this time.

Then I get to work narrating/performing your text. All files are edited and mastered to meet all marketplace (ACX/Audible, Spotify, Apple Books, etc.) submission standards. Files are submitted either to the publication platform or to the author directly for global distribution.

The author is encouraged to listen to the entire project and provide any corrections (pick ups) if necessary. Upon final approval from the author, final files will be release directly to the author or will complete the submission checks through the publication platform.

Then your audiobook production will be complete and marketplace ready. I encourage active collaboration on social media sites to promote the audiobook publication.

My highest priority is that you walk away with a final production product you can proudly add to your author repertoire and that provides you with long-term profit gains in the audiobook marketplace.
